Terms of Use for the "Forecasts 24" Section

1.1. "Forecasts 24" (hereinafter — the Section) is a loyalty program and entertainment marketing initiative aimed at encouraging the activity of the audience of the 24 Kanal website. It allows users to predict the outcomes of real events, test their own understanding of what is happening, and compete with other participants.

1.2. The Organizer of the Section is PRIVATE JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "TELERADIOKOMPANIYA LUX" (abbreviated as JSC "TRK LUX"), USREOU code 20765851 (hereinafter — the Organizer).

1.3. These Terms apply exclusively to the "Forecasts 24" Section. Other features of the Community are not governed by these Terms.

1.4. By making a forecast, a participant confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms. If a participant does not agree with the Terms, they must not make forecasts.

1.5. Participation in the Section is free of charge. It does not require the payment of money, the purchase of goods or services, and does not involve any payments to the Organizer.

Participant — a registered user of the Community of the 24 Kanal website.

Event — a question about a real future occurrence, formulated by the Organizer, to which only one of two answers is possible: "Yes" or "No".

Forecast — the answer option to an Event chosen by a participant, together with the forecast amount.

Forecast amount — the number of coins that a participant stakes on their forecast. It may be labeled "Forecast" in the interface. This is not a monetary payment or a transfer of funds — it refers solely to the Community's internal conventional units.

Multiplier — the number by which the forecast amount is multiplied to calculate the reward. It is set by the Organizer when an Event is created.

Coins — the Community's conventional units. See Section 3 for details.

Reward — the number of coins credited to a participant for a correct forecast.

Result determination — an action by the administrator by which the outcome of an Event is recorded as "Yes" or "No".

Event cancellation — the cancellation of an Event without a result determination, with the return of all forecast amounts.

Rating — a public list of the Section's participants, ranked by their forecast performance.

3.1. Coins are conventional units within the Community that reflect a participant's activity. They exist only within the service.

3.2. Coins are not money, electronic money, a means of payment, a security, or any other financial instrument. They have no monetary equivalent and are not the participant's property.

3.3. Coins are not sold or purchased for money, are not topped up for a fee, are not withdrawn, are not exchanged for money, and are not transferred between participants.

3.4. The number of coins in an account does not create any proprietary rights for the participant and cannot be grounds for monetary claims against the Organizer.

3.5. The Organizer has the right to adjust the number of coins in a participant's account in the event of a technical error, malfunction, or violation of these Terms.

4.1. Any registered user of the Community may make forecasts.

4.2. Participants who have reached the age of 18 may take part in the prize draw.

4.3. One person may have only one account. The use of multiple accounts by one person is prohibited.

4.4. Employees of the Organizer and their family members may use the Section but are not eligible to receive prizes.

5.1. A forecast is made as either "Yes" or "No". There are no other answer options.

5.2. A participant may make only one forecast per Event. It is not possible to select both options at the same time.

5.3. The minimum forecast amount is 10 coins. The maximum amount is set by the Organizer individually for each Event and is indicated in its card.

5.4. The forecast amount is deducted from the participant's account at the moment the forecast is made.

5.5. A forecast, once made, is final. It is not possible to change the answer option, cancel the forecast, or add coins to it.

5.6. The multiplier is fixed at the moment the participant makes the forecast and does not change thereafter for that forecast.

5.7. Reward calculation. If the forecast turns out to be correct, the participant's account is credited with the forecast amount multiplied by the multiplier.

Example. A participant staked 100 coins at a multiplier of 1.8. The forecast came true — 180 coins are returned to the account, meaning a gain of 80 coins. If the forecast does not come true, the staked 100 coins are not returned.

5.8. Free forecasts. Each account receives 5 free forecasts. For such a forecast, the amount of 10 coins is not deducted from the account, while the reward for a correct forecast is credited in full. Free forecasts are granted once, are not renewed, and are not restored after use.

5.9. There is no limit on the number of simultaneous forecasts on different Events.

6.1. Events are created by the 24 Kanal editorial team. Participants cannot create Events themselves.

6.2. Each Event's card indicates: the wording of the question, the multiplier, any limit on the forecast amount, the estimated time forecasts will stop being accepted, and the condition by which the result will be determined.

6.3. The acceptance of forecasts for an Event closes before it begins. The moment of closing is determined by the Organizer. Once acceptance is closed, it is not possible to make a forecast.

6.4. The result of an Event is determined by the administrator based on the source indicated in the Event's card, as a rule within 48 hours after the Event ends.

6.5. Event cancellation. An Event is cancelled and all forecast amounts are returned to participants in full if:

• the event did not take place;
• the event has been postponed indefinitely;
• the result cannot be determined unambiguously, in particular if the actual outcome does not correspond to either of the two answer options;
• the wording of the question turned out to be ambiguous.

A cancelled Event is not counted in a participant's statistics and does not affect their Rating.

6.6. Correction of errors. If the result of an Event was determined by mistake, the Organizer corrects it within 72 hours of discovering the error. In doing so, both the number of coins in participants' accounts and the Rating figures are recalculated. Participants are notified of the correction.

6.7. Subject-matter restrictions. The Organizer does not create Events concerning:

• the death, health, or safety of specific individuals;
• the number of persons killed or injured;
• the course of hostilities, losses of parties, or the occupation or liberation of populated areas;
• the course of criminal proceedings against specific individuals;
• people's private lives.

7.1. The Rating is generated automatically based on three indicators, which accumulate starting from a participant's first forecast with a determined result:

• correct — the number of forecasts that came true;
• played — the number of forecasts for which a result has been determined, regardless of whether they came true or not;
• coins — the total amount of rewards credited for correct forecasts.

7.2. Accuracy is calculated as the ratio of the number of correct forecasts to the number played and is shown as a percentage.

7.3. Every participant who has at least one forecast with a determined result is included in the Rating.

7.4. The "coins" indicator in the Rating is not the participant's current balance but the total amount credited for correct forecasts over the entire period. Coins spent are not deducted from this indicator. Forecast amounts that did not come true do not affect the Rating.

7.5. Rating indicators are cumulative: they are not reset or reduced, except in the case of an error correction under clause 6.6.

7.6. Indicators are updated at the moment an Event's result is determined. The display of a position in the interface may update with a delay of up to 30 seconds.

7.7. Participation in the Rating is automatic for all participants of the Section. The Rating displays a participant's nickname and avatar. It is not possible to opt out of the Rating; a participant may delete their account in accordance with Section 11.

7.8. The Section's Rating on the 24 Kanal website is separate and is not combined with the ratings of the Organizer's other projects.

7.9. If a participant's accounts, created through different sign-in methods, are merged, their indicators are added together.

7.10. The Organizer has the right to exclude a participant from the Rating in the cases provided for in Section 9.

8.1. The Organizer periodically identifies the participants with the best results in the Section and awards them prizes.

8.2. The period for determining winners, the number of prize places, and the composition of prizes are announced separately in the Section before the relevant period begins. These Terms do not establish either the frequency of awarding prizes or the list of prizes.

8.3. Unless otherwise stated in the announcement, winners are determined by the coins indicator — the total amount of rewards credited for correct forecasts. In the event of a tie, the participant with the higher accuracy ranks higher, and in case of equal accuracy, the participant who registered earlier.

8.4. The Organizer notifies the winner by the email address indicated in their profile and duplicates the notification in their personal account.

8.5. The winner must respond to the notification within 3 business days. The count begins on the business day following the date the notification was sent. Business days are determined in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.

8.6. After the winner has made contact, they must provide, within 10 calendar days, the information needed to arrange and send the prize.

8.7. If the winner does not respond within the period specified in clause 8.5, or does not provide the required information within the period specified in clause 8.6, the right to the prize is forfeited. The Organizer has the right, but not the obligation, to transfer the prize to the next participant in the Rating.

If a winner contacts the Organizer on their own initiative and states that they did not receive the notification of winning, the Organizer has the right to reinstate the period specified in clause 8.5 and restore that participant's right to the prize, provided the prize has not yet been transferred to another participant.

8.8. The prize is shipped by courier service within the territory of Ukraine at the Organizer's expense. Prizes are not shipped outside Ukraine.

8.9. There is no provision for replacing the prize with its monetary equivalent or another item of the winner's choice.

8.10. Taxes provided for by the legislation of Ukraine, where they arise, are paid by the Organizer. The announced value of the prize already accounts for such taxes.

8.11. The Organizer has the right to change the composition of prizes and to not hold an award for a given period, having given notice of this in the Section.

9.1. Participants are prohibited from:

• using more than one account;
• using software tools, scripts, or automated tools to participate in the Section;
• colluding with other participants on coordinated actions in order to influence the Rating;
• using information about an Event's result obtained from non-public sources;
• circumventing restrictions established by these Terms or by the service's technical measures;
• taking any other actions aimed at artificially improving one's own indicators.

9.2. In the event of a violation, the Organizer has the right to apply one or more of the following measures: cancel the participant's forecasts, reduce or reset the number of coins in their account, exclude them from the Rating, deprive them of the right to a prize, restrict access to the Section, or block the account.

9.3. The decision as to whether a violation occurred and which consequences to apply is made by the Organizer.

9.4. A participant may appeal a decision by sending a request to spilnota@24tv.com.ua within 7 calendar days from the moment they learned of the decision. The Organizer reviews the request within 14 calendar days.

10.1. No separate personal data is collected for participation in the Section — the Community account data is used.

10.2. To arrange and send the prize, the Organizer requests from the winner the data needed for delivery, as well as data needed to comply with legal requirements.

10.3. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the 24 Kanal website.

If a participant deletes their account, coins, Rating indicators, and forecast history are deleted without the possibility of recovery.

12.1. "Forecasts 24" is not a game of chance, a bet, a lottery, or a gambling-business service within the meaning of the Law of Ukraine "On State Regulation of Activities related to the Organization and Conduct of Gambling Games" and the Law of Ukraine "On State Lotteries in Ukraine." Participation in the Section does not require the payment of money, coins have no monetary value, and the outcome of a forecast depends on the participant's knowledge of real events.

12.2. Participation in the Section does not give rise to proprietary rights for the participant. Coins, Rating indicators, and one's position in it cannot be the subject of monetary claims against the Organizer.

12.3. The Organizer is not liable for temporary unavailability of the service, technical malfunctions, errors on the part of communications operators, or for the consequences of a participant's own actions, in particular the loss of coins as a result of forecasts they have made.

12.4. The Organizer's decisions regarding an Event's result, the cancellation of an Event, and the determination of winners are final.

12.5. The Organizer is not liable for failure to fulfill its obligations due to force majeure circumstances, in particular military actions, natural disasters, decisions of government authorities, or prolonged power or communications outages.

13.1. The Organizer has the right to amend these Terms. The current version is always available on this page, with the version number and date indicated at the beginning of the document.

13.2. The Organizer notifies of material changes in the Section no later than 7 calendar days before they take effect.

13.3. Changes do not have retroactive effect: forecasts made before the changes take effect are governed by the version of the Terms in force at the time they were made.
