Rules for Using the “Predictions League” Section

1.1. “Predictions League” (hereinafter — the Section) is a loyalty program and an entertainment marketing campaign aimed at encouraging the activity of the audience of the 24 Channel website. It allows participants to predict the outcomes of real-world events, test their own understanding of what is happening, and compete with other participants.

1.2. Before this version took effect, the Section was called “Predictions 24”. The change of name does not affect participants’ rights, or the statistics and coins acquired before this version took effect, and does not constitute the creation of a new section.

1.3. The Organizer of the Section is PRIVATE JOINT-STOCK COMPANY “TELERADIOKOMPANIYA LUX” (abbreviated — JSC “TRK LUX”), EDRPOU code 20765851 (hereinafter — the Organizer).

1.4. These Rules apply exclusively to the “Predictions League” Section. Other features of the Community are not governed by these Rules.

1.5. Appendix 1 to these Rules forms an integral part hereof. It sets out the award periods, their dates, the number of prize places, and the list of prizes.

1.6. By making a prediction, the participant confirms that they have read these Rules and agree to them. A participant who does not agree to the Rules must not make predictions.

1.7. Participation in the Section is free of charge. It does not require any payment of money or the purchase of goods or services and does not involve any payments to the Organizer.

Participant — a registered user of the Community of the 24 Channel website.

Event — a question formulated by the Organizer about a real future event, to which only one of two answers is possible: “Yes” or “No”.

Prediction — the answer option chosen by a participant for an Event, together with the Prediction Amount.

Prediction Amount — the number of coins that a participant commits to their prediction. In the interface it may be labeled with the word “Prediction”. It is not a monetary payment or a transfer of funds: it concerns exclusively internal conventional units of the Community.

Multiplier — the number by which the Prediction Amount is multiplied to calculate the Reward. It is set by the Organizer when the Event is created.

Coins — conventional units of the Community. For details, see section 3.

Reward — the number of coins credited to a participant for a correct prediction.

Result Determination — an action by an administrator that records the outcome of an Event as “Yes” or “No”.

Event Cancellation — the cancellation of an Event without Result Determination, with the return of all Prediction Amounts.

Overall Ranking — a public list of the Section’s participants based on the statistics of their predictions for the entire time of using the Section.

Period — a span of time at the end of which the Organizer determines the winners and awards prizes. The types of periods and their dates are set out in Appendix 1.

Round — a Period lasting approximately half of a calendar month.

Season — a Period consisting of several consecutive Rounds.

Period Ranking — a list of participants based on the statistics of their predictions within a particular Period.

3.1. Coins are conventional units within the Community that reflect a participant’s activity. They exist only within the service.

3.2. Coins are not money, electronic money, a means of payment, a security, or any other financial instrument. They have no monetary equivalent and are not the participant’s property.

3.3. Coins are not sold or bought for money, cannot be topped up for a fee, withdrawn, exchanged for money, or transferred between participants.

3.4. The number of coins in an account does not create any property rights for the participant and cannot serve as a basis for monetary claims against the Organizer.

3.5. The Organizer has the right to adjust the number of coins in a participant’s account in the event of a technical error, a malfunction, or a violation of these Rules.

4.1. Registered users of the Community who have reached the age of 21 at the time of making their first prediction may participate in the Section and make predictions.

4.2. Only participants who meet the requirements of clause 4.1 of these Rules may take part in the distribution of prizes and receive them. Before handing over a prize, the Organizer verifies that the participant has reached the required age and has the right to require the information and documents needed for such verification.

4.3. One person may have only one account. The use of multiple accounts by one person is prohibited.

4.4. Employees of the Organizer and their family members may use the Section but do not receive prizes.

5.1. A prediction is made in the “Yes” or “No” format. There are no other answer options.

5.2. A participant may make only one prediction per Event. It is not possible to select both options at the same time.

5.3. The minimum Prediction Amount is 10 coins. The maximum amount is set by the Organizer separately for each Event and is indicated in its card.

5.4. The Prediction Amount is deducted from the participant’s account at the moment the prediction is made.

5.5. A prediction, once made, is final. It is not possible to change the answer option, cancel the prediction, or add coins to it.

5.6. The Multiplier is fixed at the moment the participant makes the prediction and does not change thereafter for that prediction.

5.7. Calculation of the Reward. If the prediction turns out to be correct, the participant’s account is credited with the Prediction Amount multiplied by the Multiplier.

Example. A participant committed 100 coins at a Multiplier of 1.8. The prediction came true — 180 coins are returned to the account, that is, the increase is 80 coins. If the prediction did not come true, the 100 coins committed are not returned.

5.8. Free predictions. Each account receives 5 free predictions. For such a prediction, the amount of 10 coins is not deducted from the account, while the Reward for a correct prediction is credited in full. Free predictions are granted once and are not renewed or restored after use.

5.9. The number of simultaneous predictions on different Events is not limited.

6.1. Events are created by the editorial team of 24 Channel. Participants cannot create Events themselves.

6.2. The card of each Event states: the wording of the question, the Multiplier, the limits on the Prediction Amount, the approximate time when the acceptance of predictions ends, and the condition by which the result will be determined.

6.3. The acceptance of predictions for an Event closes before the Event begins. The moment of closing is determined by the Organizer. After acceptance closes, it is not possible to make a prediction.

6.4. The result of an Event is determined by an administrator on the basis of the source indicated in the Event card, as a rule within 48 hours after the Event ends.

6.5. Event Cancellation. An Event is cancelled, and all Prediction Amounts are returned to participants in full, if:

• the real-world event did not take place;
• the real-world event has been postponed indefinitely;
• the result cannot be determined unambiguously, in particular if the actual outcome corresponds to neither of the two answer options;
• the wording of the question turned out to be ambiguous.

A cancelled Event is not counted in a participant’s statistics and does not affect the Overall Ranking or the Period Ranking.

6.6. Correction of errors. If the result of an Event was determined erroneously, the Organizer corrects it within 72 hours of the error being discovered. Both the number of coins in participants’ accounts and the ranking statistics are recalculated accordingly. Participants are notified of the correction. The effect of the correction on already announced Period results is determined by clause 8.6.

6.7. Subject-matter restrictions. The Organizer does not create Events relating to:

• the death, health, or safety of specific individuals;
• the number of fatalities or injured persons;
• the course of hostilities, the losses of the parties, or the occupation or liberation of populated localities;
• the course of criminal proceedings against specific individuals;
• the private life of individuals.

7.1. Overall Ranking

7.1.1. The Overall Ranking is formed automatically on the basis of three indicators that accumulate from the participant’s first prediction with a determined result:

• correct — the number of predictions that came true;
• played — the number of predictions for which a result has been determined, regardless of whether they came true;
• coins — the total amount of Rewards credited for correct predictions.

7.1.2. Accuracy is calculated as the ratio of the number of correct predictions to the number of played predictions and is shown as a percentage.

7.1.3. Every participant who has at least one prediction with a determined result is included in the Overall Ranking.

7.1.4. The “coins” indicator is not the current balance of the participant, but the total amount credited for correct predictions. Coins that have been spent are not deducted from this indicator. Prediction Amounts of predictions that did not come true do not affect the rankings.

7.1.5. The Overall Ranking indicators are cumulative: they are not reset and do not decrease, except where an error is corrected under clause 6.6.

7.1.6. The indicators are updated at the moment the result of an Event is determined. The display of a position in the interface may be updated with a delay of up to 30 seconds.

7.1.7. Participation in the rankings is automatic for all participants of the Section. The participant’s nickname and avatar are displayed. It is not possible to opt out of participation; a participant may delete their account in accordance with section 11.

7.1.8. The Section’s rankings on the 24 Channel website are separate and are not combined with the rankings of other projects of the Organizer.

7.1.9. If a participant’s accounts created via different sign-in methods are merged, their indicators are added together.

7.1.10. The Organizer has the right to exclude a participant from the rankings in the cases provided for in section 9.

7.2. Period Ranking

7.2.1. Winners are determined by the Period Ranking, not by the Overall Ranking, except where expressly provided otherwise in Appendix 1.

7.2.2. The Period Ranking is calculated independently: each Period starts with zero indicators, the results of previous Periods are not taken into account in it and are not carried over to subsequent Periods.

7.2.3. A prediction is counted in the Period within whose dates the Organizer determined the result of the corresponding Event. The date on which the prediction was made and the date on which the Event itself occurred are irrelevant.

7.2.4. Periods may overlap in time. A Season covers the same dates as the Rounds that form part of it, so the same prediction is counted both in the Ranking of the relevant Round and in the Ranking of the Season.

7.2.5. The Period Ranking indicators are calculated by the same rules as the Overall Ranking indicators, but only on the basis of predictions counted in that Period.

8.1. The Organizer determines winners and awards prizes at the end of Periods. The list of Periods, their dates, the dates for announcing results, the number of prize places, and the prizes are set out in Appendix 1.

8.2. No awards are made for time intervals not covered by Appendix 1.

8.3. Determination of winners. The winners of a Period are determined by the coins indicator of the Ranking of that Period — the sum of Rewards credited for correct predictions. If the indicator is equal, the participant with the higher accuracy ranks higher, and if the accuracy is also equal, the participant who registered earlier.

8.4. The results of a Period are fixed as of 23:59 on the last day of the Period, Kyiv time.

8.5. The results of the Period and the list of winners are announced in the Section on the date indicated in Appendix 1.

8.6. Review of results. If, after the results of a Period are announced, an error is found in the determination of the result of an Event, the Organizer recalculates the Ranking of that Period and, if necessary, changes the list of winners. A review is possible until the prize is handed over to the delivery service. From the moment the prize is handed over to the delivery service, the results of the Period are not subject to review with respect to that prize.

8.7. The number of wins by one participant is not limited. One participant may be the winner of several Rounds and, at the same time, the winner of a Season.

8.8. The Organizer notifies the winner by the email address specified in the winner’s profile and duplicates the notification in the personal dashboard.

8.9. The winner must respond to the notification within 3 business days. The count starts from the business day following the date the email was sent. Business days are determined in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.

8.10. After the winner has made contact, the winner must, within 10 calendar days, provide the data required for processing and shipping the prize.

8.11. If the winner did not respond within the period specified in clause 8.9, or did not provide the required data within the period specified in clause 8.10, the right to the prize is lost. The Organizer has the right, but is not obliged, to transfer the prize to the next participant in the Period Ranking.

If the winner contacts the Organizer independently and reports that they did not receive the notification of the win, the Organizer has the right to renew the period specified in clause 8.9 and restore that participant’s right to the prize, provided that the prize has not yet been transferred to another participant.

8.12. The prize is sent by a delivery service within the territory of Ukraine at the Organizer’s expense. Prizes are not sent outside Ukraine.

8.13. Replacement of a prize with a cash equivalent or with other goods chosen by the winner is not provided for.

8.14. If a prize specified in Appendix 1 becomes unavailable, the Organizer has the right to replace it with another prize of equivalent value, notifying participants of this when announcing the results of the Period.

8.15. Taxes provided for by the legislation of Ukraine, should they arise, are paid by the Organizer. The announced value of the prize already takes such taxes into account.

8.16. The Organizer has the right to change the composition of the prizes and not to hold an award for the results of an individual Period, by giving notice of this in the Section.

9.1. Participants are prohibited from:

• using more than one account;
• using software, scripts, or automated tools to participate in the Section;
• agreeing with other participants on coordinated actions in order to influence the rankings;
• using information about the result of an Event obtained from non-public sources;
• circumventing restrictions established by these Rules or by the technical means of the service;
• taking any other actions aimed at artificially improving their own indicators.

9.2. In the event of a violation, the Organizer has the right to apply one or more of the following measures: cancel the participant’s predictions, reduce or reset to zero the number of coins in the participant’s account, exclude the participant from the rankings, deprive the participant of the right to a prize, restrict access to the Section, or block the account.

9.3. If a violation is discovered before the prize is handed over to the delivery service, the Organizer cancels the participant’s results for the relevant Period and refuses to award the prize. If a violation is discovered after the prize has been handed over to the delivery service, the Organizer does not demand the return of the prize but has the right to exclude the participant from participation in subsequent Periods and to block the participant’s account.

9.4. The decision on whether a violation has occurred and on the consequences to be applied is made by the Organizer.

9.5. A participant may appeal a decision by sending a request to spilnota@24tv.com.ua within 7 calendar days from the moment they learned of the decision. The Organizer considers the request within 14 calendar days.

10.1. No separate personal data is collected for participation in the Section — the data of the participant’s Community account is used.

10.2. For processing and shipping a prize, the Organizer requests from the winner the data required for delivery, as well as the data required to comply with legal requirements.

10.3. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the 24 Channel website.

If a participant deletes their account, the coins, ranking indicators, and prediction history are deleted without the possibility of recovery.

12.1. “Predictions League” is not gambling, betting, a lottery, or a gambling business service within the meaning of the Law of Ukraine “On State Regulation of Activities Related to the Organization and Conduct of Gambling” (“Про державне регулювання діяльності щодо організації та проведення азартних ігор”) and the Law of Ukraine “On State Lotteries in Ukraine” (“Про державні лотереї в Україні”). Participation in the Section does not require any payment of money, coins have no monetary value, and the result of a prediction depends on the participant’s knowledge of real-world events.

12.2. Participation in the Section does not give rise to property rights for the participant. Coins, ranking indicators, and position in the rankings cannot be the subject of monetary claims against the Organizer.

12.3. The Organizer is not liable for temporary unavailability of the service, technical failures, errors on the part of communication operators, or for the consequences of the participant’s own actions, in particular for the loss of coins as a result of predictions made by the participant.

12.4. The Organizer’s decisions regarding the result of an Event, Event Cancellation, and the determination of winners are final.

12.5. The Organizer is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to force majeure circumstances, in particular military action, natural disasters, decisions of public authorities, or prolonged power or communication outages.

13.1. The Organizer has the right to amend these Rules. The current version is always available on this page; the version number and date are indicated at the beginning of the document.

13.2. The Organizer gives notice of material amendments in the Section no later than 7 calendar days before they take effect.

13.3. Amendments that do not worsen the participants’ position — in particular a change of the Section’s name, an increase of the prize fund, the addition of award Periods, and an increase in the number of prize places — take effect from the date of publication without the prior notice provided for in clause 13.2.

13.4. Amendments are not retroactive: to predictions made before the amendments took effect, the version of the Rules in force at the time they were made applies.

A1.1. Periods

A1.1.1. The winners of the “October 2026” Period are determined by the Overall Ranking as of 23:59 on 31 October 2026 — as an exception to clause 7.2.1, since this Period covers the entire time of the Section’s existence.

A1.1.2. The winners of Rounds 1–4 and Season 1 are determined by the Ranking of the relevant Period in accordance with section 7.2.

A1.1.3. Season 1 consists of Rounds 1–4. A prediction counted in any of these Rounds is also counted in Season 1.
