Dasha Ptakhovska

I have been in journalism for 10 years. I have come a long way from covering local initiatives to analyzing large-scale socio-political processes. I joined the Channel 24 team in 2023.

I try to cover topics that shape the future of our cities and our country. My professional work focuses on socio-political life, strategic energy issues and the activities of local self-government. I specialize in covering Ukraine's economic and energy resilience under martial law. I analyze preparations for critical periods, the development of energy independence and the adaptation of big business to new realities. I focus on the social responsibility of the corporate sector and its contribution to the country's defense capability.

I devote a lot of time to learning foreign languages, as this allows me to study foreign experience of sustainable development freely, without intermediaries. I also discover the world through quality cinema: from in-depth documentaries about the environment to world masterpieces that raise important social issues. For me, cinema and languages are not just a way to relax, but an opportunity to constantly broaden my worldview and find new meanings and inspiration for my professional work.

Education: a bachelor's degree from Ternopil National Pedagogical University (journalism) and a master's degree from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (economic journalism).
