Eduard Khomchenko

I have been working in journalism for 6 years. I began my journalism career combining studies with practice at niche publications about culture and tourism. I joined the Channel 24 team in 2019. I work as an editor of the Travel department, specializing in travel in Ukraine and around the world, as well as active leisure. In my materials, I reveal little-known tourist locations to readers. I strive to popularize domestic tourism by telling about the legends, architectural heritage and authentic corners of our country.

Besides journalism, I have experience creating educational content about world culture and architectural monuments.

In my free time, I prefer hiking and active leisure, which lets me explore the country beyond popular guidebooks. I often organize hikes and lead groups in the mountains, sharing my own experience of wilderness survival and opening up the Ukrainian Carpathians to others.

Education – bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Journalism of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
