Force India
A Formula 1 team. It emerged in October 2007 after Indian businessman Vijay Mallya bought the Spyker team. At the 2009 Belgian Grand Prix, Giancarlo Fisichella won the team's first pole position and finished second in the race itself, beaten only by Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari. In 2018, the team was bought by a consortium led by Lawrence Stroll, and during the 2018 Belgian Grand Prix it was renamed Racing Point Force India F1 Team.
