Ilya Ponomarev

A former Russian politician. In 2014, during a vote in the Russian State Duma, he turned out to be the only one of 450 deputies who voted against the occupation of Ukrainian Crimea. In 2016, the State Duma prematurely stripped him of his deputy powers. Later, Ponomarev moved to Kyiv, and in 2019 he acquired Ukrainian citizenship.
