Kateryna Slipchenko

Journalist, columnist, and culture editor. An art historian.

She has been working in journalism since 1998 and has been with ZAXID.NET since 2014. She specializes in cultural topics, covering both the Ukrainian and international scenes—including theatre, exhibitions and various other cultural events—with a primary focus on cinema. 

She is a member of the Union of Film Critics of Ukraine, the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI), the Ukrainian Oscar Committee, and the Ukrainian Film Academy. She regularly attends major Ukrainian and international film festivals. Notably, she has been accredited at the Cannes Film Festival every year since 2003.

Beyond her journalistic work, she frequently serves as an expert for projects related to cinema.
