Maria Prymych

Education – Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Journalism of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (2022). 

While studying at the university, she wrote materials for the faculty media outlet "Mediakrytyka". Previous experience in journalism: the news agency "Koruptsiia Info" – from October 2019 to July 2021 (she wrote on various topics – from politics to show business); she was a volunteer journalist for the "Heroes of Freedom" project – at the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion. 

Additional education / practice / internships: the "Find the New" journalism courses from NewsRoom.Lviv. (2019); practice at the "Lvivska Khvylia" radio station; participant of the Media Mobility Hub internship program from the Suspilnist Foundation.

She did an internship at "Fakty" on ICTV. 2021, participant of the #pyshyredahui 5.0 challenge from the media project TZh/Typovi Zhurnalisty; the "School of War Storytelling" from the Suspilnist Foundation; the online course "How to Work with Traumatic Content and Maintain Mental Health"; the Copywriting beginning course from Projector. 

From November 2023 to June 2026, she worked in the Channel 24 team. She wrote about Ukrainian and world show business and cinema, went to concerts and other events that she then covered in her pieces, and interviewed celebrities.
