Education – Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, historian specialising in Slavic studies, master's degree, class of 2004. Experience in journalism – about 15 years in total.

He began working in journalism in 2002, joining the team of the print newspaper "Nasha Sprava", and later became its editor. In 2004, at the invitation of the Ukrainian-Canadian literary and news magazine "Prostir", he headed its Ukrainian editorial office as managing editor, and within half a year became deputy editor-in-chief. In 2006 he became part of the project "Informational Ukraine", which analysed that year's regular parliamentary elections, which for the first time formed the Verkhovna Rada on a proportional basis. In 2008 he decided to try his hand at business and remained in that field until 2018 – then he joined the Channel 24 website team, where I still happily remain. He progressed from content editor, then newsfeed editor, to managing editor of the website from 2022. He received a UNESCO fellowship for journalists in 2023.

In his professional work, he has most deeply researched political and geopolitical processes, diplomacy and history. Outside work, his main interest is literature, in particular long-form prose, literary criticism and book editing. I have several published academic articles and fiction stories in collections and almanacs. I also enjoy writing about leisure and travel in Ukraine and around the world. I have personally visited 23 countries and lived in more than 60 cities around the world.
