Polina Buyanova

Education – Bachelor of Journalism and Social Communication, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (2025). 

While still studying, she did internships at the outlets "Svidomi" and LB.ua ("Livyi Bereh"). Later she worked with Telegram channels and at the media outlet "Chas Dii", where she created news content and SEO materials, and also handled social networks. 

In addition, she repeatedly took part in international Erasmus+ trainings, in particular in the projects Initiating New Standards in Journalism: Supporting (Formerly) Incarcerated Groups with Honor and Tact (INSIGHT) and CivicArt. 

From February 2024 to August 2026, she worked as a news feed editor on the Channel 24 website, where she wrote about Ukrainian and international politics, as well as high-profile events. 

Outside of work, I am interested in travel, art (particularly cinema) and photography.
