Experts confirmed that the restoration of data transmission speeds began overnight, and by morning, performance had reached the required level.

The full operation of satellite systems is critical for the frontline logistics of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. In addition to ensuring reliable communication between units, a stable connection speed is necessary for the effective defense of Ukrainian territories against Shahed jet drones.

System operations have been restored to the speed they had before all these restrictions. Now the speed is exactly what we need. We’ve conducted tests: Starlink and Starshield are working– the president assured.

He expressed gratitude to all American partners, members of Congress, senators, the State Department, and the U.S. President for taking the issue seriously and providing effective assistance. He extended special thanks to the international media for their coverage of the satellite communications situation.

Incidentally, the U.S. Congress has called on the Pentagon to “ Extend the Starshield contract for Ukraine.” They emphasized that Ukraine must receive sufficiently powerful and reliable satellite communications to conduct military operations.
