Vlada Ponomareva

Education – Bachelor of Journalism, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (2026). 

She joined the 24 Channel team in March 2024. Experience in journalism – 2 years. During this time, she worked as editor of the Show, Cinema and LifeStyle sections. 

In November 2024, she did an internship at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland) as part of the international project "Countering Russian Disinformation in Ukraine and EU Countries: Effective Fact-Checking". She also completed the courses "Media Literacy: How Not to Succumb to Manipulation?" and "Information Hygiene During War" from Prometheus. 

I specialize in long-read texts where I combine the topics of style, Ukrainian traditions and show business. I make selections of fashion trends and anti-trends (clothing, manicure, hairstyles) and analyze the looks of monarchs, first ladies and stars. 

At the same time, I prepare reports and news on the main events in cinema and show business. I tell the history of Ukrainian first names and surnames in the formats of long reads, selections or explainers and make it understandable for the modern reader. 

In materials about religion, I focus on debunking myths through conversations with priests and professional experts. 

My Upper-Intermediate English allows me to work with foreign primary sources and foreign specialists. I prepare texts taking into account SEO requirements for Google, and I also create visual content myself, in particular photos, videos and collages.
