Yuriy Semenyuk

My work experience in journalism is already 8 years. I began my professional path in 2018, focusing on researching cultural phenomena and iconic figures in Ukrainian history. I joined the 24 Channel team in 2021 as an editor of the Trends department.

My professional activity is focused on two areas: in-depth research of history and analysis of the most topical trends of today. In my materials I often combine the present with the past: I tell little-known facts from the lives of classic authors, analyse viral social media trends and cover the fates of artists who shaped the Ukrainian stage. I strive to create content that helps readers better understand their own identity through the prism of interesting facts, traditions and social changes. 

I am passionate about urbanism, follow technological innovations and support environmental initiatives, because a conscious approach to life begins with attention to detail and one's own history.

Education – master's degree in journalism from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
