Keir Starmer – a British politician and lawyer, leader of the Labour Party from April 4, 2020, to July 2026. 

Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from July 5, 2024, to July 20, 2026. He supports Ukraine in the war with Russia. Keir Starmer first visited Ukraine on an official visit on January 16, 2025.

Keir Starmer announced his resignation as prime minister and leader of the Labour Party on June 22, 2026. This happened amid pressure from the Labour Party leadership. 

MPs supported the candidacy of Andy Burnham for the post of prime minister. 

Starmer's predecessor in office was Rishi Sunak.
