The President of Ukraine made this statement in an interview with Piers Morgan.
What did Zelenskyy say about the US?
Zelenskyy expressed regret that Ukraine is losing a strong “partner.” The journalist asked if he was referring to the United States.
“Yes, but it’s not our fault. We can’t be weak. I mean, we can’t be weak, or else we won’t survive,”
– replied the Ukrainian leader.
Zelenskyy also emphasized that "we are not selling our country."
As a reminder, the head of state stated that, amidst intense shelling, Ukraine is open to any ceasefire formats. He warned Donald Trump against choosing the wrong path in history and highlighted the risks to their future partnership.
According to Zelenskyy, he does not know exactly who is pushing the American leader toward the wrong side.
