What is known about Kushner’s ties to Middle Eastern politicians?

In 2017, Dutch intelligence exposed a Russian military hacker linked to the GRU. They offered him a choice: arrest or cooperation against the Kremlin. This is how Dutch intelligence agents gained access to the Russian spy’s materials, which included screenshots from Jared Kushner’s phone. Subsequently, the agents were able to monitor the contents of Kushner’s iPhone screen on their own.

That’s how they discovered that the American had used his phone to log into a bank account in the UAE. At that time, hundreds of millions of dollars had allegedly been transferred to the account from a bank in Azerbaijan.

The journalist noted that Baku plays an important role in money laundering. The country’s central bank maintains a high proportion of U.S. dollars in its reserves but violates banking transparency standards.

Early in the Trump administration’s first term, UAE ruler Mohammed bin Zayed and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman proposed creating a fund worth more than $10 billion. These funds were intended to support the White House’s foreign policy goals, specifically to finance the wall on the border with Mexico and Trump’s re-election to a second term.

The Emiratis and Saudis do this once a year. A billion or two is nothing to them, and if they get what they want, it’s money well spentCole noted.

The idea of a large fund didn’t materialize in its original form, but at least $2 billion was funneled into two separate accounts.

What is known about Kushner’s accounts?

The first account, called “Alpha,” which was used as a foreign policy fund, was opened at First Abu Dhabi Bank, where approximately 750 million has been transferred from Saudi Arabia and the UAE via an Azerbaijani bank since 2017. This money was partly managed by Kushner and Ben Zayed, who wanted to strike a major deal to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and believed that the region’s map needed to be redrawn. The U.S. president’s son-in-law had access to the account and could theoretically carry out transactions, but technically it was not his account.

Jared promised Mohammed bin Zayed that he would promote their agenda with Trump if they participated in the fund. He wanted to normalize relations with Israel so that business could beginsaid a source familiar with the UAE’s deal with Kushner.

According to this person, “secret funds” were a common form of corruption in the governments of the Persian Gulf states. In addition, the investigator’s sources claim that financial transactions were made from the “Alpha” account to benefit a military commander, a mercenary, and a former hitman. The journalist believes that this account was meant to remain a secret, more akin to a covert and illegal scheme.

The UAE crown prince transferred approximately $1 billion to a second account named “Beta,” which was routed through Azerbaijan to Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu allegedly encouraged the placement of these funds in the country’s Central Bank under the guise of government money. A significant portion of the sum was subsequently transferred to accounts in Cyprus for Kushner’s personal benefit.

During the secret financial deal, he may have agreed with the UAE ruler on a third account. This could have been something like a defense fund for a rainy day. Together, these three accounts were part of a secret foreign policy coordinated by Trump’s son-in-law with the leaders of Israel, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

What did Kushner’s camp say?

Kushner himself categorically rejected the allegations and stated that there was no evidence or bank statements in the author’s materials.

“During that period, I was one of the most closely scrutinized people in the world, under the intense scrutiny of the media, numerous congressional investigations, and the special counsel’s investigation. I cooperated voluntarily with these investigations, providing over 30 hours of testimony,”– emphasized the U.S. president’s son-in-law.

Attorney Chad Mizzell also denied the existence of the accounts in question and stated that a potential lawsuit against the author of the article was being prepared.

Since Kushner had access to classified government information, he was required to disclose any bank account to which he had access as a signatory or beneficiary. Regardless of how the money was used, Dubai and Riyadh were paying for influence within the U.S. government. The journalist emphasized that any efforts Trump’s son-in-law made to influence U.S. policy using funds from another government would make him an agent of a foreign state. U.S. law requires citizens who lobby on behalf of another country to register with the Department of Justice.

One former prosecutor stated that if Kushner promised anything to Middle Eastern rulers in exchange for money – even if it involved a conversation with his father-in-law – he could have violated federal bribery laws as well as the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

It should be noted that in the U.S., the organization “Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics” in Washington is seeking a court order requiring remove Kushner from office. The plaintiffs insist that he performs the duties of a public official and must disclose his income.

At the same time, the investment firm Affinity Partners, led by Kushner, manages over $6 billion in assets, nearly 99% of which belong to the sovereign wealth funds of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE.
