Political analyst Artem Bronzhukov spoke about this on Channel 24. According to him, Trump’s ambiguous statements about the war in Ukraine are viewed with mixed reactions not only in our country but also in the United States.

Trump is playing into Putin’s hands

As the political analyst emphasized, American society and the media are the forces currently keeping the issue of the war in Ukraine in the spotlight. After all, the Trump administration is engaging in outright sabotage in this regard.

The statements by Trump and J.D. Vance demonstrate that, as of now, they are not politicians who embody the traditional U.S. role of being the world’s policeman. Right now, they are essentially puppets in the hands of the Kremlin. Putin is using them and making them look like fools in front of the whole world. And, judging by everything, they seem to be fine with this situation,
said Bronzhukov.

Trump’s weak policy only encourages the Kremlin to act proactively and seize the moment. The dictator Putin continues to want to redraw the world’s geopolitical map and regain influence over Eastern Europe. He thinks in imperial terms of expanding spheres of influence and understands only power. At the same time, Trump is driven by a capitalist desire to make money and is trying to appease the dictator using familiar business schemes.

Trump’s approval ratings are falling: watch the video on Channel 24

Why are Trump’s approval ratings falling?

According to a political analyst, Trump’s approval rating began to falter primarily after the failed war in the Middle East. It’s clear that the U.S. president wanted a quick victory, but ended up with nothing but additional problems. In particular, this led to a significant rise in oil prices, which in turn drove up the cost of diesel in the U.S.

Over $6 per gallon is a problem for the U.S. economy. Farmers, who have always supported Trump, are now suffering from his decisions. All of this has gradually led to a decline in his approval rating.

I’ve spoken with various Republican and Democratic representatives during their visits to Kyiv. In private conversations, they all say that he is the most corrupt, incompetent, and autocratic president in modern American history. All of this is resulting in disastrous approval ratings for Trump,
Bronzhukov noted.

We should add that Trump recently stated that Russia is "behaving normally" toward Ukraine. It allegedly “doesn’t do anything special.” On the same day, a Russian “Shahed” attack on a park in the Kharkiv region claimed the lives of 5 people. Among them were 2 children.
