An intercontinental ballistic missile strike
On November 21, 2024, Russia put Tu-95 bombers and MiG-31K fighter jets into the air.
Later, the Air Force reported that the enemy had launched an intercontinental missile at Ukraine from the Astrakhan region. In particular, Russia struck the critical infrastructure of Dnipro.
It is known that this may concern the RS-26 "Rubezh". It is an intermediate-range ballistic missile with high speed and power, but its effectiveness and the possibility of interception remain in question.
Later, Russia stated that Dnipro had been struck with an "Oreshnik" missile. It was launched from the "Kapustin Yar" test site.
