Bucha

A Hero City of Ukraine, a district centre in the Kyiv region. Bucha became a victim of the Russian occupation and inhuman crimes.Before the Russian troops withdrew from the Kyiv region, the occupiers carried out a mass killing of the civilian population – the tragic events became known as the Bucha massacre. As a result of the Russian terror, more than 420 civilians were killed in Bucha.Bucha is now trying to recover from the inhuman trauma, and it temporarily remains dangerous for its peaceful residents – the occupiers left mines and tripwires, which State Emergency Service workers continue to clear.
