Car Accident Involving Actors from the "Diesel Show"
On October 20, at about 7 a.m., a terrible road accident occurred involving a bus carrying actors of the "Diesel Show". The bus with the actors collided with a truck near the village of Myla in Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district on the Kyiv–Chop highway. The actors of the comedy project were returning to Kyiv from a performance in Lviv.
As a result of the tragedy, actress Maryna Poplavska was killed. Four more actors are in hospital in serious condition. It is known that the injured include actors Yehor Krutoholov and Yana Hlushchenko. According to doctors, their lives are not in danger.
"Diesel Show" is a popular comedy TV show that has been on the air since 2015 on the Ukrainian TV channel ICTV. The actors' repertoire includes jokes on topical issues, numerous sketches, musical numbers and even pranks on audience members in the hall.
