Chernobyl
A town in northern Ukraine located in Kyiv Polissia in the Ivankiv district of Kyiv region, at the confluence of the Prypiat River with the Kyiv Reservoir and where the Uzh River flows into the Prypiat. The residents of Chornobyl were evacuated as a result of the accident at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant in 1986.
