Fires in Australia

Large fires in Australia have been raging since October 2019. Forests are burning in the southeast of the continent, and local authorities are carrying out forced evacuations of people. The states of New South Wales and Victoria are in the biggest fire trap.

Since the fires began, 24 people and 500 million animals have died. Thousands of houses have been destroyed and millions of hectares of land burned.

The country's authorities have called up 3,000 reservists to help, and world celebrities are also joining the fight against the fires in Australia.
