
G20
The G20, or "Group of Twenty" – is a group of finance ministers and central bank governors of the 20 largest economies of the world and the European Union.
The first G20 meeting took place in 1999 in Berlin to address issues related to the global crisis. The meeting was initiated by French President Nicolas Sarkozy and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
Nowadays, G20 meetings are held for cooperation and consultation on international financial and economic issues.
