Gas Contract
The agreement between Russia and Ukraine on the transit of Russian gas to Europe expires on December 31, 2019. If the countries do not conclude a new contract by then, a number of countries that consume gas from Russia may be left without blue fuel.
President Zelenskyy assured that he would try to resolve the conflict before the end of the current contract, but Russia has so far shown no inclination towards productive negotiations.
