George Floyd

46-year-old African American George Floyd died during a police arrest. Law enforcement officers claim that Floyd resisted and did not want to get out of the car. An online video shows a police officer pressing Floyd's neck to the ground for 7 minutes during the arrest. Floyd said he could not breathe and begged not to be killed. Floyd was released when he had already lost consciousness and was taken to hospital, where he died. Law enforcement officers claim that Floyd died as a result of a medical incident during an interaction with police. So far, the 4 police officers who took part in Floyd's arrest have been dismissed from the service.
