HC Bilyi Bars
A Ukrainian professional hockey club from the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. One of the founding clubs of the Ukrainian Hockey League. It plays its home games at the Bilyi Bars Ice Arena in Bila Tserkva. The club's official colors are black, white and yellow.
The Bilyi Bars hockey team was founded on August 8, 2008 in Brovary district of Kyiv region.
The team's home arena is the Ice Stadium, which opened on December 7, 2012.
HC Bilyi Bars is an active participant in the hockey movement in Ukraine.
On July 25, 2011, at the founding meeting in Kyiv, it became one of the creators of the Professional Hockey League association of hockey clubs. The team finished its first season in the PHL in seventh place among eight participants.
On June 3, 2016, Bilyi Bars became a co-founder of the reorganized Ukrainian Hockey Championship, the Ukrainian Hockey League.
From the very beginning of its activity, HC Bilyi Bars has focused on young Ukrainian graduates. Many hockey players who have defended the colors of Ukraine's junior and youth national teams have come through the team's school.
In particular, three "Bars" players became champions in Division II of the junior championship (U18) in 2011, and two in the youth championship (U20) in 2012.
