HC Ice Wolves

A hockey club from Kyiv, Ukraine. It plays in the Ukrainian Hockey League. It plays its home matches at the Shalett ice arena. The club's official colors are blue and white.

The Vovky (Wolves) hockey club was founded in Brovary in 2017 on the basis of the hockey department of the Brovary Higher School of Physical Culture.

Before the start of the season in the Ukrainian Hockey League, there was no clarity about the ice arena where the team would play its home matches. Options considered included the Terminal shopping and entertainment center (Brovary), the ATEK sports complex (Kyiv) and the Svitanok Ice Arena in the village of Kovalivka, Vasylkiv district. The club settled on the Terminal shopping and entertainment center in its hometown.

HC Vovky played its first match in the Ukrainian Hockey League on September 13, 2017 against HC Donbas.

In the summer of 2018, the team rebranded, changing its name to Ice Wolves. Also, with the move to Kyiv, the wolves got a new arena on Shalett Street.

The first game at the home arena was a friendly against the amateur team Chaika, which the wolves lost 5:6.
