Russian media reported that one of the militant commanders of the so-called "DPR", Arsen Pavlov, better known as "Motorola", was killed in Donetsk. The information was confirmed by the so-called "Ministry of Defense of the "DPR". The militant's death was also announced by Yurii Tandit, adviser to the head of the SBU.
