Navalny was poisoned

Navalny was flying from Tomsk to Moscow on the morning of August 20. He felt ill on board the plane; eyewitness passengers even shared a video in which the man's loud moaning can be heard.

The plane made an emergency landing in Omsk, where the politician was hospitalized. Navalny is in intensive care in a coma and has been connected to a ventilator.Navalny's wife Yulia arrived at the Omsk hospital. She was accompanied by the director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, Ivan Zhdanov, and doctor Anastasia Vasilyeva.

According to the opposition politician's associates, he was most likely poisoned. At the same time, they stress that Navalny only drank tea before the flight.Something may have been slipped into his drink.

At first, Russian doctors said they had found a dangerous chemical component in Navalny's body. However, they later changed their minds, saying that no poison was found in his blood.

Omsk doctors diagnosed Navalny with a metabolic disorder.After long negotiations, the opposition politician was nevertheless taken to Berlin for treatment.
