Nelia Shtepa
Former head of Sloviansk Nelia Shtepa is known for her political loyalty to Yanukovych's "Family", as well as for her scandalous actions and statements. Shtepa was a member of the Party of Regions and chair of the supervisory board of the regional charitable foundation "Hurry to Do Good". In 2019 she was a candidate for People's Deputy from "Opposition Platform – For Life".
The European Court of Human Rights found violations by Ukraine in the case of the former head of Sloviansk, who had been accused of separatism. The ECHR ordered Ukraine to pay her 3,600 euros.
Shtepa said she would run for mayor again.
