Péter Magyar is the Prime Minister of Hungary, a politician, leader of the opposition party "Tisza" and an opponent of Viktor Orbán.
In the 2026 parliamentary elections he defeated the incumbent Prime Minister of Hungary. Magyar was elected the new prime minister on May 9, 2026.
Péter Magyar expresses a pro-European position and promises that Hungary will join the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO). He also says he will fight corruption and investigate embezzlement by Orbán and the oligarchs connected to him.
