Pokemon Go – an augmented reality computer game from the Pokemon series. Developed by Niantic – initially for iOS and Android mobile devices.

The special feature of Pokemon Go – is the overlay of virtual images on the image of the real world. The game encourages users to travel the streets of cities to search for and hunt Pokemon.

The game Pokemon Go launched on July 6, 2016 in the USA, Australia and New Zealand. In the first week after its release, Pokemon Go became a hit and increased the market capitalization of Nintendo (owner of 32% of The Pokemon Company's shares) by 8 billion dollars.
