"Referendum" in Donbas
Three referendums held on May 11, 2014, in some settlements of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
All the referendums were held in violation of the Constitution of Ukraine, with systematic violations of fundamental international principles and procedures for holding referendums, and are illegitimate; their results were not recognized by the Ukrainian authorities, nor by the European Union and the United States.
