Reintegration of Donbas
On October 4, 2017, President Petro Poroshenko submitted to the Verkhovna Rada two bills concerning the reintegration of Donbas: No. 7163 "Draft Law on the Specifics of State Policy to Ensure the State Sovereignty of Ukraine over the Temporarily Occupied Territories in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts" and No. 7164 "Draft Law on Creating the Necessary Conditions for a Peaceful Settlement of the Situation in Certain Districts of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts". Poroshenko designated both of them as urgent.
Another bill on the reintegration of Donbas was registered in parliament by MPs from the "Samopomich" faction.
