Sergey Kuzminikh

Sergey Kuzminikh is a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the "Servant of the People" party, who was elected in the 2019 elections in constituency No. 67 (Zhytomyr region). 

Kuzminikh's brother, Oleh Kuzminykh, is a military officer, lieutenant colonel, "cyborg" and defender of Donetsk Airport, former commander of the 90th battalion of the 81st Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Kuzminikh's wife is Olena. The couple is raising three children.

In 2022, NABU and SAPO detained Sergey Kuzminikh "red-handed" while receiving a bribe of UAH 558,000. 

The investigation claimed that the money was for influencing hospital officials. In particular, according to NABU, the MP was supposed to help ensure that a hospital in the Zhytomyr region concluded a contract with a particular company. 

The case was sent to court back in 2022, but the MP did not appear at the hearings. 

In 2026, NABU detectives detained MP Sergey Kuzminikh in this case. They were executing a ruling of the High Anti-Corruption Court because the MP systematically failed to appear at court hearings. 

On June 29, 2026, the High Anti-Corruption Court imposed on Sergey Kuzminikh a preventive measure in the form of round-the-clock house arrest with an electronic bracelet.
