
Suspension of service to Russia
On August 6, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelian stated that the state intends to stop rail services with Russia. At the same time, the ministry does not rule out stopping bus services as well.
On August 16, Minister Omelian stated that he had "signed a historic document", but did not specify which one.
Ukraine will not be able to stop only freight rail services with Russia because of its obligations to the World Trade Organization.
