The Disaster in Norilsk
A fuel leak recently occurred in the Russian city of Norilsk (Krasnoyarsk Krai). Eventually, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to declare a federal-level state of emergency. The point is that petroleum products got into the soil and the Ambarnaya River. The total amount of spilled diesel exceeded 20 thousand tonnes.
