The Ombudsman Addressed Ukrainians Regarding the Preparation of a Mission in Oleshky

The Ukrainian side is currently gathering information about people who remain in the city and need assistance. Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament’s Commissioner for Human Rights, announced the preparations for the mission.

What is known about the humanitarian mission?

A humanitarian mission is planned in Oleshky to provide assistance to local residents. Its implementation will be made possible thanks to the support and coordination of efforts by Melania Trump, First Lady of the United States of America.

“I am sincerely grateful to the First Lady for her mediation in this process and her exceptionally compassionate stance, which is helping to create the conditions for the rescue of our citizens,”he said.

Lubinec also emphasized that he is in constant contact with the parties involved, government agencies, and local authorities.

Currently, the Ukrainian side is gathering information about people who remain in Oleshky and need assistance. Particular attention is being paid to the elderly, people with limited mobility, and those who cannot care for themselves.

Right now, it is extremely important for us to gather as much information as possible about the people who are in the city and need assistance – especially the elderly, people with limited mobility, and those who cannot take care of themselves.
