The Offensive on the Kharkiv Region

At the beginning of May 2024, the Russian occupiers began shelling the Kharkiv region more actively and gathered a significant grouping of troops near the border.

On the morning of May 10, as reported by the General Staff, the Russians launched a counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that there had been no breakthrough toward Ukraine, but the fighting in the Kharkiv region had become extremely fierce.
