UIA
This is a private Ukrainian airline that was founded as a state-owned company in 1992 and fully privatized in 2011.
UIA's base airport is Boryspil Airport. The airline's main destinations are Western Europe, the Middle East, the CIS and Asia.
After an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 Max 8 passenger plane crashed in Ethiopia, a number of countries stopped operating the aircraft.
Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) currently does not have Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft in its fleet.
But in 2019, UIA plans to receive a second Embraer 195 and at least three Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
