Ukrainians were detained in Athens

On the evening of July 4, Ukrainians arrived at Athens airport on two flights from Kyiv. They used the services of the low-cost airlines Ryanair and Wizz Air.

Ukrainian diplomats in Greece explained to the detainees that they were not allowed into Greece because of the ban on entry into the EU for third-country nationals. The passengers add that before departure, at check-in at Kyiv airport, they were strictly questioned and their entire package of documents was examined.
