Vitold Fokin

In October 1990, Vitold Fokin served as acting Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR, and in November Fokin was confirmed in this post. He became Prime Minister of Ukraine in March 1991. He is 87 years old.

After Leonid Kravchuk was appointed head of the TCG, it became known that Ukraine's first Prime Minister Vitold Fokin might become a new participant in the negotiations on settling the armed conflict in Donbas.

On August 4, Fokin agreed to join the Ukrainian delegation. According to him, he received the offer from the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak.Fokin also said that it is an honor, at the end of his life, to help his Motherland at least in some way.
