Volodymyr Tsemakh
Volodymyr Tsemakh is an accomplice of pro-Russian militants in Donbas.
Most likely, he is a witness to the downing of the Boeing passenger plane of flight MH17 in July 2014. In an interview with Russian propagandists, Tsemakh talked about the downing of the aircraft and explained that the militants were supposedly aiming at Ukrainian planes. Experts are confident that he hid the Buk air defense system.
On June 27, 2019, Tsemakh was detained and arrested. On September 7, as part of a large-scale exchange between Russia and Ukraine, he was taken to Russia.
Immediately after his release from Ukraine, Volodymyr Tsemakh was also released by the Russian authorities. Then one of the main witnesses of the MH17 disaster returned to occupied Donbas.
