Yevgeny Prigozhin
A Russian war criminal, head of the "Wagner" PMC, one of the key commanders during Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
He is also a restaurateur and businessman; his firms often won state procurement contracts for Moscow officials, which is why Prigozhin has the nickname "Putin's Chef". In addition, he is the founder of the so-called troll factory in Olgino.
In 2023, Prigozhin entered into a media conflict with the Russian Ministry of Defense: he recorded accusatory videos and wrote social media posts claiming that Russia's military leadership was incompetent and that his fighters were allegedly not being supplied with weapons. Political strategists suggest that this is an attempt to create an "alternative picture" for Russians.
