
Yulia Svitlychna
Yulia Svitlychna has been head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration since October 2016.
Svitlychna is the youngest regional head in Ukraine (35 years old) and the only woman heading a region. Before that, she was a deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council, where she headed the BPP faction.
She holds diplomas as an international economist, a Doctor of Law, and a PhD in public administration.
On October 8, Svitlychna submitted to the NACP a candidate's declaration for the post of deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. She may become deputy to Oleksii Danilov, who is also from Kharkiv.
