Vance on Fuel Price Spikes
J.D. Vance compared the current situation in the energy market to previous crises. He claims that in 2022, fuel prices rose more significantly than they have now.
In addition to the price spike in 2022, the American politician also recalled similar fuel price hikes in 1979, 2001, and 2007. In his view, the actions of an aggressor were the key factor behind these changes each time.
“They spike every time some despicable dictator decides to throw a tantrum,”
At the same time, he criticized the Democratic Party’s approach to solving the country’s energy problems. According to him, the Democrats’ solution consists solely of “whining and building a few wind turbines.”

As a reminder, J.D.Vance called on Kyiv to stop the attacks on Russian oil refineries. He is convinced that the strikes are driving up fuel prices on the global market and hitting Americans’ wallets.
