Arson Attack on the "Schemes" Car

On the night of August 17, unknown persons set fire to the car of journalists of the "Schemes" program. It happened near the house of the film crew's driver in Brovary, near Kyiv. The incident occurred at one o'clock at night.Eyewitnesses said that before the car caught fire they heard a "bang". The car was first extinguished by neighbors, then by firefighters. The front of the car burned out very quickly. The car cannot be restored.

According to the journalist, the last story filmed using the KIA Cerato was "Kings of the Roads". It was about how the vehicles of high-ranking officials violate traffic rules.

During the filming and in the story itself, Mykhailo Tkach repeatedly stressed that the car and the journalists were being watched by employees of the State Protection Department that guards the president.
