
Attack on Kropyvnytskyi
Since 2022, the city of Kropyvnytskyi has suffered several Russian attacks:
On July 23, 2022, Russian troops fired 13 missiles (eight Kalibr and five Kh-22), which hit the "Kanatove" military airfield and an Ukrzaliznytsia facility. As a result, there were dead and wounded.
On January 4, 2024, a missile strike damaged an energy company, killing one person and injuring eight.
On September 18, 2024, Russian forces attacked energy facilities in Sumy, and in Kropyvnytskyi one person was killed, a 90-year-old woman was injured, and residential buildings were damaged.
On March 20, 2025, a massive drone attack injured at least 10 people, including four children, and caused significant damage to residential buildings.
These incidents indicate constant threats to Kropyvnytskyi from Russian troops.
