Civil Defense
The Territorial Defence Forces are the youngest branch of the Armed Forces, which during the war carry out tasks within their own locality. Ukrainians with military experience and civilians can join the Territorial Defence Forces.As of the beginning of March 2022, the Territorial Defence had recruited and armed more than 100,000 people. Most of the fighters are concentrated in regional centres and are defending the cities.
