Declaration

The register of declarations, or the e-declaration system, is a whole online system designed for filling in, verifying and publishing the asset declarations of civil servants and other persons who are required to do so by law.

The register was created in pursuance of the law "On Prevention of Corruption" and began operating in August 2016. The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) ensures the full functioning of the declaration system.

The launch of electronic declaration was the main condition for Ukraine to receive an IMF tranche, and the absence of an electronic declaration system was a key obstacle to introducing a visa-free regime with the EU. 

All civil servants in Ukraine submit declarations every year.
