On the night of May 3, powerful explosions were heard near the Kremlin. Putin's press service immediately claimed that Ukraine had allegedly "tried to strike the Kremlin" during the night. They asserted that the Russian military and special services had "disabled two drones that attacked the Kremlin".
Meanwhile, Volodymyr Zelenskyy's spokesperson Serhii Nykyforov stated that Ukraine had no information about this attack.
